Calma Facial is a facial wellness and lymphatic drainage guidance app developed by Alan-AG Studio. This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use Calma Facial.
Calma Facial does not require you to create an account. The app works entirely with information stored locally on your device and does not use an Alan-AG Studio backend to store your personal progress, photos, preferences, or purchase status.
Depending on the features you use, locally stored information may include:
About your photos specifically: any photo you take or select within Calma Facial — including your daily progress photos and your profile picture — is stored in the app's storage on your device. The app does not upload these photos to Alan-AG Studio, to any Alan-AG Studio server, or to any third party, and Alan-AG Studio has no access to them at any time. They remain on your device unless you choose to copy, back up, or share them yourself through your device's own tools, or unless your phone includes them in the Android backup (see the next paragraph).
Android backup: Calma Facial does not turn off Android's automatic backup. If you have it turned on, your phone may include Calma Facial's data in your Google backup. That backup is made and managed by Google according to your device and Google Account settings; Alan-AG Studio does not receive it or have access to it. To stop the app's data from being included, or to delete a backup that has already been made, use your phone's or your Google Account's backup controls.
About videos you export: Videos you export are saved to your phone's gallery, in the Calma Facial folder. They are your files. The app never uploads them to any server. If you have automatic gallery backup turned on (for example, Google Photos), that service may copy them according to your own settings. They are not deleted when you uninstall the app. You can delete them from your gallery. On Android 9 or earlier, the app requests storage permission only to save that video.
Calma Facial uses Google AdMob, through the Google Mobile Ads SDK, to display advertising in three formats: banner ads shown alongside the app's screens, a full-screen interstitial ad shown occasionally between actions, and native ads styled to match the app shown during rest periods between exercises. None of these ads are shown to users who have purchased Calma Facial Premium (Section 4).
To show these ads, Google Mobile Ads processes information including:
This information is shared with Google and, depending on the ad shown, Google's advertising partners, in connection with providing and measuring the advertising service. It is processed by Google and its partners according to their own policies — it is not collected into an Alan-AG Studio backend, and it is never combined with your progress data or your photos, which — as described in Section 1 — never leave your device.
Before requesting any ad, Calma Facial uses Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) SDK to determine what consent, if any, applies to your region and to gather it if needed.
If you're located in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or a region covered by applicable U.S. state privacy laws (such as California), you may be shown a consent message asking whether you agree to personalized advertising before Calma Facial requests its first ad.
What happens if you don't consent: Calma Facial does not request any ad — personalized or not — until this consent step is fully resolved by Google's SDK. If that resolution determines ads cannot be requested at all (for example, because the required consent wasn't given), no ads of any kind are shown while that remains the case. If ads can be requested but you declined personalized advertising, whether non-personalized ads are shown instead is determined by Google's advertising service based on your choice and Google's own standard practices for that situation — this decision happens within Google's systems, not in code that Alan-AG Studio controls.
You can change your advertising consent choice at any time from Calma Facial's Settings → Privacy options (this option is shown only when applicable to your region).
Calma Facial offers an optional one-time purchase, "Calma Facial Premium," which removes ads and unlocks the timelapse export feature. This is a single, non-subscription payment — Calma Facial never asks you to subscribe or to pay again for the same purchase.
All purchases are processed entirely by Google Play Billing, Google's own in-app payment system. When you buy Calma Facial Premium:
Google Play's own handling of your purchase and payment information is governed by Google's policies, linked in Section 10.
Calma Facial can read exercise instructions out loud. This feature is off by default — it only runs if you turn it on from Settings.
When enabled, Calma Facial uses your device's built-in Android Text-to-Speech system to read the instruction text — the same system other apps on your phone (like screen readers or navigation apps) also use. On most devices, the preferred voice Calma Facial requests is a network-based Google voice: to produce that speech, the device's Text-to-Speech engine (Google's own app, not Calma Facial directly) sends the instruction text being read to Google's servers for synthesis. That text is generic exercise-instruction copy built into the app — never your name, your photos, your progress, or any other personal information — but we want to be upfront that it is sent to Google for this purpose. If a network voice isn't available (for example, no internet connection), the device automatically falls back to an offline voice that doesn't send anything over the network.
You can turn this feature off at any time from Calma Facial's Settings; while it's off, no text is read and nothing is sent to any Text-to-Speech service.
Calma Facial uses Firebase Crashlytics, a Google service, to automatically learn when the app fails unexpectedly (a "crash") during real use by someone who installed it from Google Play — so we can find and fix errors we would otherwise never see.
When a crash happens, Crashlytics generates a report that can include:
Calma Facial does not add your name, your email, or any other identifier that links the report to you as a person — we do not configure any additional custom data inside Crashlytics. These reports also never include your progress photos, your profile picture, or your cycle and routine progress: as described in Section 1, that information never leaves your device, not even when a crash happens.
This collection is only active in the version of Calma Facial you download from Google Play — it's turned off during the app's development, so internal testing never generates these reports.
Firebase Crashlytics processes this information according to its own policies, linked in Section 10.
If you contact support at alanagsoftware@gmail.com, Alan-AG Studio may receive the information you voluntarily provide, such as:
This information is used only to respond to you, provide support, resolve questions or problems, and handle communications directly related to your request. It is not used for unrelated marketing.
Calma Facial and Alan-AG Studio do not independently sell your personal information. Third-party services described in this Privacy Policy — Google Mobile Ads/AdMob (Section 2), Google's User Messaging Platform (Section 3), Google Play Billing (Section 4), Google's Text-to-Speech service (Section 5), and Firebase Crashlytics (Section 6) — may process information according to your region, consent, privacy choices, and their own policies, as explained above.
Calma Facial is developed by Alan-AG Studio. The app does not use accounts and does not operate a backend server — everything Calma Facial stores (your cycle and routine progress, streaks, completed days, progress photos, profile picture, Premium purchase status, and app preferences, as described in Section 1) is stored on your device, in the app's own storage. Alan-AG Studio keeps no copy of this information: there is no copy on any Alan-AG Studio server for Alan-AG Studio to access, retain, or delete on your behalf. The only possible exception is your phone's Android backup, which Google makes and manages according to your settings (see Section 1).
How to request deletion of your data: because all of your data is stored locally, the way to delete it is to remove it from your device directly — no request needs to be sent to Alan-AG Studio, and there is no waiting period. You can either:
Either action immediately deletes the data Calma Facial keeps in the app's own storage on your device: your cycle and daily routine progress, streaks, completed days, progress photos, profile picture, locally stored Premium purchase status, and app, reminder, and onboarding preferences. See also the note about Android backup below.
Videos you exported are not deleted this way: they stay in your phone's gallery, in the Calma Facial folder (see Section 1), and are not removed when you uninstall the app or clear its data. To delete them, remove them from your gallery.
Android backup is not deleted this way either: neither action deletes a backup your phone has already made to your Google Account. If you have Android backup turned on, when you reinstall Calma Facial or set up another phone with the same account, that data may be restored. To delete that backup, or to stop including the app's data, use your phone's or your Google Account's backup controls.
Note that clearing local data does not cancel or refund a Google Play purchase — that purchase record lives with your Google account, independent of the app, and reinstalling Calma Facial with the same account will detect and restore it automatically. To cancel or request a refund of a purchase itself, use Google Play's own purchase history and refund tools.
What does not apply: Alan-AG Studio has no server-side copy of your progress or photos to retain or delete, since the app does not transmit any of it off your device to Alan-AG Studio — so no additional server-side deletion process applies here. Android backup, if you have it turned on, is managed by Google (see above).
Data that Google may process independently: as described in Sections 2–6, Google's advertising, purchase, voice, and crash-diagnostic services may independently process device or advertising identifiers, purchase records, and other signals in connection with those services — Alan-AG Studio does not control or have access to that data. To request deletion of, or more information about, data Google may hold in connection with Calma Facial's use of these Google services, write to Alan-AG Studio at alanagsoftware@gmail.com and we will help direct your request, or use your Google Account's own privacy controls and the resources linked in Section 10 to manage information Google holds directly.
If you have any other question about deleting your data, contact Alan-AG Studio at alanagsoftware@gmail.com.

Calma Facial is a general-audience wellness app and is not directed to children or minors.
If you are a parent or guardian and believe a child has provided personal information by contacting us, you can request its deletion by emailing alanagsoftware@gmail.com.
Alan-AG Studio takes reasonable measures to avoid unnecessary collection of personal information and to keep Calma Facial safe. Because your progress, photos, and purchase status are stored on your device and never transmitted by the app to Alan-AG Studio, the security of that information also depends on your own device's security (such as your screen lock and device encryption). No method of storage or digital transmission can guarantee absolute security.

This Privacy Policy may be updated when Calma Facial's features, legal requirements, or third-party services change. Updates will be posted on this page with a revised date.
